Committee activities in July 2021
In July, Quality Partners’ managing director, Andreas Bitzi, actively participated in different committee activities of AEB and AHK.
As chairman of the compliance committee, there was a monthly meeting which gave insights in the potential criminal and administrative liabilities of general directors of Russian legal entities. The compliance committee strives to raise awareness of the legal environment and how to keep potential risks under control. In the second part, there was an introduction into the activities of the Chamber of Commerce of Moscow in the compliance sphere.
During a joint meeting of the AEB’s SME Committee with the subcommittee on labour law, the subject was the vaccination obligations which were imposed on companies working in certain services sectors in Moscow. The requirements have led led to lots of uncertainties and questions; the requirements are pretty strict, and the participants would expect tighter requirements to come, for Moscow as well as for other parts of Russia, as just recently introduced in St. Petersburg.
Finally, there was a steering group meeting of the Northwestern Regional Committee of the AEB, where the most important subject was the planned anniversary festivities (10+ years of AEB Northwest, 25+ years of federal AEB) which shall take place on 30 September, if the pandemic situation will allow.
Apart from the above mentioned meetings, there were more events from AHK and AEB with participation from colleagues from Quality Partners.
