Pharmtech & Ingredients 2020
Andreas Bitzi, Managing Director of Quality Partners, took part in a panel discussion at the exposition Pharmtech & Ingredients 2020. With his participation he represented JCC Joint Chambers of Commerce Switzerland, as its Russia Chapter Chair. The session was organized by Swiss Business Hub Russia (SBH)/ the Embassy of Switzerland in Russia.
As it is appropriate in the current corona situation in Russia and Europe, the event followed sound social distance rules between the participants of the conference and the panel discussion, the participants wore masks and gloves.
Lorenz Widmer, Head of SBH, made a short introduction and guided the participants through the event. Andreas gave insights into the opportunities of the Swiss Pharma clusters and their competitive advantages as well as an introduction into how to do business with Swiss, what factors to watch, where not to put one’s foot in and how Swiss may interpret Russian habits.
His speech was followed by Yulia Parinova, representing the supplier to the pharmaceutical sector Biogrund, with insights into their business and how the Biogrund solutions make a difference, and Nikolay Kodryanu, representing another supplier to pharmaceuticals, Gerteis, telling the participants about their equipment and its effectiveness. The session was followed by a Q&A session.
