On 18 February 2026, representatives of quality partners took part in the annual tax conference organized by the Tax and Financial reporting Committee of the Russian‑German Chamber of Commerce. The event focused on key developments in Russian tax legislation and current trends in tax administration and enforcement.
Experts placed particular emphasis on changes coming into force in 2026. These include adjustments in tax administration procedures, new approaches to tax audits and the handling of taxpayer appeals, as well as stricter requirements for cross-border transactions and intra-group settlements. Such developments require companies to enhance the quality of their documentation, review their corporate structures, and assess tax risks in a timely manner.
Participation in professional discussions within the Chamber—together with representatives of the Federal Tax Service of Russian Federation and members of the international business community—allows us to better understand the challenges faced by foreign-invested companies operating in Russia. This insight helps us refine our advisory approach: we support clients in preparing for the 2026 changes, mitigating tax risks, and building compliant and sustainable business structures in line with Russian legislation.
