AEB Roundtable at the International Hanseatic Economic Forum in Pskov
28 June, the International Hanseatic Economic Forum was held within the framework of the 39th International Hanseatic Days in Pskov.
About 400 guests from all over the Hanseatic countries and cities attended the forum.
During the event, the Association of European Businesses held a roundtable on the Prospects for the Development of Transport Infrastructure as the Basis for Economic Development.
The roundtable was moderated by Andreas Bitzi, Chairman of the AEB North-Western Regional Committee and managing director of quality partners.
Ruslan Kokarev, COO of the AEB, held the opening words and a speech on the transport system in the EU and EEC. It was followed by speeches on the development of the transport infrastructure of the Pskov region (Boris Yolkin, Chairman of the Committee on Transport and Road Management of the Pskov region), railway infrastructure in the Pskov region (Roman Gorin, Deputy Head for Territorial Administration of the Oktyabrskaya Railways), the development of “green” road corridors Russia – EU (Nikolay Polyakov, Deputy Head of the Department for Work with Infrastructure Companies, ANO Strategic Partnership North-West), development of intermodal transport (Natalya Kapkaeva, Head of the port of Hamburg representative office in St. Petersburg), and foreign investors’ expectations for projects in the field of transport infrastructure (Sergey Vershinin, Associated Partner, Rödl & Partner).
The presentations were followed by lively discussion and question/answer session.
