Andreas Bitzi, managing director of quality partners, has been elected Chairman of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Committee of the Assocation of European Businesses.
He will take the lead for the development of the committee, which represents the interests of SME’s of the association, uniting their issues, interests and problems in various areas in one committee. Being an entrepreneur himself as the owner of quality partners with currently 26 employees, as well as serving numerous SME as client of quality partners, Andreas is confident he can well contribute to a successful committee in cooperatin with active members, raising the importance of SMEs within the AEB.
Being elected as chairman of the SME committee as well as chairman of the Northwestern Regional Committee, Andreas had to take a decision to forgo one of the chairmanships. He will give up the chairmanship of the Northwestern Regional Committee after four years but is available to be a deputy for his successor. By doing so he decided to be more active in the federal organisation. The successor will be elected among the steering group members in the Northwest this week.
