IMF Briefing of the AEB
On 07 February, the Association of European Businesses’ Northwestern Regional Committee organised the traditional economic briefing with the International Monetary Fund at the Consulate General of Lithuania.
Gabriel Di Bella, Resident Representative of the IMF in the Russian Federation, gave interesting and deep insights into the current macroeconomic situation of Russia, growth perspectives, strengths and weaknesses, structural issues, scenarios as well as measures that would support growth and support the goals of the May decrees of President Putin.
The participants were fascinated by Mr Di Bella’s deep detail knowledge and could feel the passion that he puts into his profession as economist.
We would like thank Mr Di Bella for his precious contribution. We regret he will leave Russia this year for Washington and would like to thank him for the great cooperation with the AEB within the last four years and wish him already the very best on his further career path in the IMF.
