Medical examination for HQS once every three years.
According to the Federal Law 357-FZ as of July 14th, the following changes were introduced to the legislation on highly qualified specialists.
Among them are:
- Highly Qualified Specialists (HQS) have to undergo the repeated medical examination within 30 days after the renewal of the work permit. As a work permit for HQS is valid up to 3 years, HQS are obliged to obtain medical examination once every 3 years.
- Foreign citizens who arrived in Russia before December 29, 2021, for the purpose of labor activity or for other purposes not related to labor activity, for the period exceeding 90 calendar days, are subject to medical examination and dactyloscopy within 180 calendar days from the date of the Federal Law came in force.
- The term of temporary stay for minor children of a foreign citizen has been extended – they can stay as long as their parents.
